We currently have an opportunity available for a capable and experienced MR Truck Driver to work with a road works team.

We are seeking applicants who are located at Armidale, as this role will involve overtime and call-outs in the Armidale area.

Please note that whilst truck driving will be the primary part of this role, you will also be required to undertake manual labouring tasks with the crew as required.

Duties of this role will include working on general road pavement repairs, guard rail installation and repairs, erecting signage, general traffic control, filling pot holes, installing/replacing guide posts, rubbish removal and all other general labouring and truck driving tasks required for general road maintenance works.

This role will involve working full time hours of work for a period of approximately 6 months with potential for further work for the right candidate. A start of work ASAP is required. An attractive hourly pay rate is being offered, including overtime penalty rates for additional hours of work.

Successful Applicants will need;

Current WHS White Card

Driver licence - MR licence or above

Traffic control tickets - or willingness to obtain

Worker On Foot card - or willingness to obtain (online link able to be provided for successful applicant as part of the onboarding process)

Good all round fitness for manual work tasks

Previous experience with road construction or maintenance will be highly regarded
