This full-time, permanent Maintenance Fitter role is part of a supportive and skilled maintenance team, focused on keeping a high-volume, highly automated production site running at peak performance. The facility is modern, clean, and produces over a million products per day using advanced machinery and systems.

Key Details:

Shift: Day Shift – Monday to Friday

Hours: 5:00am – 3:00pm (overtime and weekend work available)

Pay Rate: $50-52 per hour (starting rate based on experience and qualifications)

Type: Permanent, full-time

Location: Near Lytton

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair plant machinery and equipment

Carry out routine scheduled maintenance and respond to breakdowns

Use mechanical tools to fit, assemble, and repair components

Maintain a strong focus on Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) standards

Read and interpret schematics, plans, and technical specifications

Collaborate with production teams to minimise downtime and support continuous improvement

Proactively identify potential issues and take corrective action

Ensure all maintenance work is compliant with industry standards and well-documented

Success Requirements:

Relevant trade qualification (Fitter)

Experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment (Industrial/FMCG preferred)

Solid understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and fault finding

PLC knowledge is an advantage, but not essential

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure
