About the role
CPR Group are seeking experienced Plant Mechanics and Auto Electricians to join our team in The Hunter Valley and surround's, NSW. These are a full-time positions supporting long term contracts with our mining and resources clients with the maintenance and repair of heavy plant and equipment. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients' operations run smoothly and efficiently.
What you'll be doing
Conducting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a range of heavy plant and equipment, including excavators, dozers, graders, trucks and more
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
Performing overhauls and rebuilds of major components
Documenting work completed and maintaining detailed records
Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest safety and quality standards
What we're looking for
Trade qualification with certificate of proficiency
Experience as a Plant Mechanic or Auto Electrician, preferably in a mining or resources environment
Driver’s License
Current (within 12 months) or ability to obtain an Order 43 Medical
Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of heavy plant and equipment
Strong electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Highly Desired Criteria
In depth knowledge of Caterpillar SIS and ET
Hunter Valley mine site inductions
Caterpillar, Liebherr, Hitachi and Komatsu experience highly regarded
