Einstein’s 251 Café is seeking a full-time qualified Chef to join our dynamic and growing

kitchen team in Caulfield North, Melbourne.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Chef to prepare, cook and present high-quality

dishes that reflect our unique fusion of Melbourne-style brunch and Middle Eastern cuisine,

while ensuring the highest standards of kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and cook menu items in accordance with our recipes and quality standards.

Manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and OH&S regulations.

Supervise and train kitchen staff, providing guidance on cooking techniques, preparation methods, and kitchen protocols.

Collaborate with management to develop and introduce innovative dishes and seasonal menus.

Monitor and maintain stock levels, control wastage, and order supplies as required.

Ensure the efficient and smooth operation of the kitchen during service periods.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required:

AQF Certificate IV or higher in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent overseas qualification).

At least two years’ relevant full-time experience as a Chef in a busy kitchen environment.

Strong knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen operations.

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Employment Terms:

This is a full-time position (minimum 38 hours per week).

Salary: $80,000 – $85,000 per annum plus superannuation.

Location: Caulfield North, Melbourne, VIC.
