About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a casual Front of House Attendant to join our passionate and fun team at The Farm Yarra Valley in Warrandyte South, VIC. As a Front of House Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests at weddings and events.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming guests with a friendly and professional demeanour

Working with the Event Coordinator and Event Manager to deliver events as per the client's wishes and planned run sheet.

Promptly and efficiently serving food and beverages to guests

Demonstrating knowledge of The Farm's food and beverage offerings and adhering to RSA requirements

Communicating clearly with staff, vendors and clients

Ensuring our Farmhouse reception room is clean and presentable at all times

Assisting with setting up and packing down ceremony & reception areas

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer-facing role within the hospitality industry, preferably in an events environment

Bar experience will be highly regarded

Coffee making experience will be highly regarded

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner

Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to handle multiple tasks and requests simultaneously

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation

A positive, enthusiastic and flexible attitude with a willingness to work as part of a team

Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
