Due to the growing demand of our service, we are currently seeking a general labourer to join our team located in Queanbeyan NSW. We're looking for excellent and friendly workers with experience in the building or manufacturing industry, attention to detail and passion for their work to join our company.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Primary duties will be to work in the workshop alongside fellow workers who may be prepping, cutting, grinding, welding, fabricating, sandblasting and painting steel products. Your duties will include, however are not limited to, the following:

• Complete jobs in a quick, efficient and accurate manner with a high attention to detail
• Assist with prepping and sandblasting materials
• Perform general maintenance and cleaning
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Meet quality standards
• Flexibility to perform other duties within the manufacturing environment, alongside manual work, when required; and
• Engage in staff pre-start, toolbox, and safety meetings; while closely following safety procedures and accident-preventative behaviours

To be successful in this position you will require the following skills/experience;

• High quality output and attention to detail
• Skilled in time management
• Reliable, hardworking and punctual
• Capable of working as part of a team and unsupervised
• Reliable transport

Certifications beneficial but not mandatory include:

• Forklift licence
• Experience in sand blasting
• WHS White Card and/or EWP licence; and
• Any High-Risk accreditation
