The opportunity
As our Procurement Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our world-class clinicians have access to the best equipment, supplies, and services to deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with our clinical excellence goals
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes for service providers, medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, and general supplies
- Negotiate contracts and build strong supplier partnerships
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies
- Lead cost optimization initiatives while maintaining quality standards
- Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to understand unique requirements
What we are looking for
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 5+ years procurement experience, preferably in healthcare
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Knowledge of healthcare procurement regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems
- National Police Check (within the last 6 months or willingness to obtain)
- Compliance with Category B immunisation requirements (2 COVID doses + current seasonal flu vaccination)
