GPH employs over 400 staff including many qualified health and other professionals including peer workers and community workers. GPH operations cover a large regional geographical footprint in NSW and ACT.
About the position Grand Pacific Health is looking for an experienced leader to oversee our Next Steps program covering South-Eastern NSW. The ideal candidate will be someone with experience delivering clinical or psychosocial supports together with sound leadership skills. Grand Pacific Healths Next Steps program is a highly successful suicide prevention program that offers a combination of clinical and peer-based support to assist people experiencing a suicidal crisis or who have attempted suicide, and their families. The program is designed to help people get the support they need in the community.
The Service Manager will lead the delivery of the program ensuring high quality consumer management and best practice in mental health service delivery. This dynamic role oversees the day-to-day operations whilst inspiring a person-centred approach to ensure the team remains individually and community focused.
Location is flexible, able to be based from our Wollongong, Moruya, Bega, Queanbeyan or Goulburn GPH hubs.
This is a full-time opportunity, fixed term until 30th June 2026. Full time positions have the option for a Rostered Day Off each month.
We are looking for someone with:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a health discipline (e.g. allied health, nursing, peer work, health promotion or Aboriginal health) or other relevant qualifications.
- Previous experience in health, mental health or community service management roles Demonstrated leadership experience of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing and consultation skills
