Control Systems Engineer
Southwest Australia Location

Our client is a long-established Southwest based manufacturer of various timber products. As a result of ongoing growth, they are seeking to add a Control Systems Engineer to their team.

The plant combines multiple fixed plant machinery such as conveyors, belts and other materials handling and cutting equipment.

Job Duties:

• Maintaining control systems and production efficiency by analysing plant processes and design.
• Identifying safety hazards and implementing continuous improvement systems to achieve the high performance of machinery.
• Planning preventative maintenance and investigating problems with processes and hardware.
• Providing strong technical support to customers, vendors and suppliers to achieve project work.

Requirements:

• Electrical / Control Engineering degree.
• At least 5 years + experience withing manufacturing or heavy industrial background.
• Strong exposure to sensors and control devices, as well as designing, writing programs and installing logic.
• Full Australian working rights and valid current driver’s licence.
