The Team:

The Flinders Island Multipurpose Centre (FIMPC) is a vital hub for community and allied health services on Flinders Island, dedicated to supporting the local community through a wide range of healthcare services. Our facility includes 5 acute beds, 3 emergency department beds, and 9 residential aged care beds.

The Role:

The Flinders Island MPC are currently seeking a suitable person to backfill the Support Services Coordinator role for a period of 5 weeks.

  • Supervision of Support Services staff and provide assistance in the resolution of day-to-day operational issues.
  • Ensure adequate levels of stock and appropriate and functioning equipment that is required for the provision of Support Services.
  • Regularly liaise with Director or Nursing (DON) and Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) to ensure smooth operation of day-today tasks

Details of appointment:

Fixed term, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, 26 November 2025 until 2 January 2026.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $73,811 to $79,779 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.

Salary Packaging:

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

Allowances:

  • District Allowances of up to $4,618 per annum for a family
