The Role

We are looking for an experienced Truck & Dog Driver to join our family-run civil crew in Dubbo, NSW. This role involves transporting materials for civil construction projects and contracting work with external clients as required. The ideal candidate will have a strong safety focus, experience operating truck and dog trailers, and a willingness to assist on-site when needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate truck and dog trailers to transport materials such as gravel, soil, and quarry products
• Deliver loads to civil construction sites and external clients as required
• Perform pre-start checks and basic vehicle maintenance
• Ensure compliance with load limits, road safety regulations, and fatigue management requirements
• Assist with civil site tasks when required, such as material handling or spotting machinery

Requirements and Skills

You will need:

• HR or HC Licence (essential), MC Licence (preferred)
• White Card (essential)
• Experience driving truck and dog combinations
• Strong knowledge of road transport regulations and load management
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and time management skills
