The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for a committed and capable individual to operate, maintain and construct water and sewerage infrastructure to recognised health, environmental and BVSC standards.

As a Water & Sewer Team Member, you will operate, monitor and maintain all facets of water and sewerage infrastructure including scheduled and emergency maintenance. You will also assist in the construction of new water and sewer infrastructure, respond to system issues, and complete a range of workplace documentation.

About You

We are seeking an individual who has a Certificate III in Water Industry Operations (NWP30215) or equivalent trade-based qualification and has their current NSW Class C Drivers Licence.

You will have the following skills and experience;

• Demonstrated and complete understanding of water supply and sewerage system operation, maintenance and construction practices.
• Developed skills in the laying of water and sewer mains and associated construction activities.
• Developed fault-finding skill techniques as appropriate to water supply and sewerage systems.
• Demonstrated ability in the use of a personal computer (or similar mobile computing device) and the associated use of Microsoft software packages including Word, Outlook, Excel, telemetry, SCADA and GIS/mapping software programs.

Benefits

This is a permanent, full time position working 38 hours per week.

The total remuneration package for this position commences at $77,319.42 gross per annum, comprising of:

• $1,327.60 per week base salary
• $159.31 per week superannuation (calculated at 12%)
