It is specifically busy at present in the Residential (high-rise) and Educations (schools) sectors but also works across Commercial, Health and Aged-Care projects.

About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity with a great Engineering Consultancy, due to growth we are seeking a Senior Structural Design Engineers who has worked in a similar Engineering Consultancy role in Australia.

The projects will be challenging, typically medium and high-rise projects in the Residential, Commercial, Education, Health and Aged-Care sectors.

We are looking to identify someone who has worked on projects at least mid-rise in scale and involved in end to end processes, concept design through to construction and ultimately delivery.

The company has a supportive, family styled and led culture, mentoring and training support is provided to everyone in the company.

About the candidate

Ideally you will have:

• A minimum of 6+ years of practical Structural Engineering experience
• Significant experience gained working in Australia
• Experience gained running projects from end to end
• Ideally experience working on the design of a variety of buildings and shoring, footings etc.
• Attended site inspections for mid-sized buildings and upwards
• Strong work ethic
• Team player, adaptable and flexible
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of Australian Standards & Council design standards
• Demonstrated understanding of Engineering codes, construction standards, specs, procedures and construction techniques and materials
