Rotary Lodge is the onsite accommodation at Bundaberg Hospital. We are Partners in Care Together, the charity that operates Rotary Lodge as one of our social enterprises. There are two Lodges, with a total of nine guest rooms, three bathrooms, and shared kitchen facilities.
We are seeking a superstar housekeeper to join our team on a part-time casual basis, reporting to the Rotary Lodge Manager. You will be responsible for carrying out allocated general cleaning duties, achieving established standards of cleanliness and presentation to meet our guests’ needs.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
Clean guest rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, storage areas and corridors as allocated to the required standard.
Report any lost property following correct procedures.
Use and clean equipment with care, reporting any defective equipment.
Ensure equipment is maintained to a high standard.
Ensure the security of keys and guest rooms at all times by adherence to security procedures. Report any suspicious persons or items to Rotary Lodge Manager.
Understand the correct usage and storage of cleaning agents in line with health and safety regulations and manufacturer’s instructions.
To be successful in this role you will possess:
Effective communication skills
Excellent cleaning skills, preferably with hotel cleaning experience
Professional presentation
Ability to work between 9am to 12pm, or longer, Monday to Friday, as required.
