About the role

We are currently recruiting for casual Housekeepers for our fixed camps located in Moranbah.

These positions will require you to live locally, as accommodation cannot be provided. We provide top level customer service and support to our clients and guests, and we are looking for reliable applicants to join our fast-paced team in ensuring our facilities meet that standard. Flexible roster of either Monday to Friday or 2 weeks on, 1 week off.

If you have experience with cleaning, housekeeping, hotel hospitality or have transferable skills from a similar role, we invite you to apply!

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Cleaning guest accommodation to a high standard

Cleaning of common areas

Cleaning bathrooms/toilets/floors

Making beds

Stripping of bed linen

Washing and drying of linen

Pre-arrival checks of expected guest arrivals

Use of commercial washers and dryers

Stocktake of Housekeeping chemicals etc

Ability to work as a team and autonomously

Physically fit and able: you will be bending, lifting, carrying, walking, mopping, using stairs and pushing trolley's.

Attention to detail

Using chemicals safely and effectively

Correct use of PPE

To be considered you should be able to demonstrate:

Previous experience in similar position (Housekeeping experience not essential)

An ability to communicate effectively with others

Proactive team approach to work

Ability to prioritise workload

Responsible & reliable ethos

Willingness to teach others
