Senior Service Technician

Our client, a leading supplier of high-quality water treatment systems in Australia, is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Senior Service Technician to join their team based in Melbourne, VIC. This role involves providing exceptional service support, including breakdown and scheduled maintenance, to customers across Victoria.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a diverse range of equipment, including plant equipment maintenance, fault finding, replacing parts, monitoring of efficiencies, routine checks, and breakdowns.

Prepare detailed service reports for key accounts and service contract clients.

Collaborate with the admin and sales team to prepare service quotations.

Identifying and pursuing opportunities for business growth with existing customers will be fondly looked upon but not essential.

Educate customers on the safe and correct operation of their systems.

Continuously develop technical knowledge of products and services.

Service customers in both metropolitan and remote VIC/TAS areas, with some overnight travel required.

Qualifications and Experience:

TAFE/Trade qualifications in electrical, plumbing, or relevant areas are highly desired but not essential.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the industry or a related field.

Previous experience in water treatment systems is advantageous.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.

Competent in troubleshooting and fault finding.

Physically fit.

Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Police Check and Working with Children certification are essential.
