About the role

As the leading manufacturer and supplier of Corrugated Metal Products to the Mining and Civil Construction Industries, we seek motivated and reliable General Hands for manufacture of our corrugated steel pipe.

Potential to earn over $3k/week while working FIFO at our Newman factory, or on remote manufacturing locations.

As an ISO accredited company, we are dedicated to Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental concerns.

You will receive specialist on the job training in all aspects of the Corrugated Steel Pipe (CSP) manufacturing process.

What you'll be doing

Finishing operations and operator assistance

Assistance with re-tooling of machinery during profile changes

Repairs and maintenance of roll forming and associated machinery

Forklift operations

Packing and preparing culvert pipe packs

Applicants demonstrating a high regard for quality workmanship and attention to detail will be suited to this role

What we're looking for

Experience in operating workshop machinery and handheld power tools (specific training provided)

Can-do attitude with problem solving ability

Able to work well in a team environment with good communication skills

Strong focus on quality and productivity

Must be willing to work away from home on 3:1 / 2:1 / ad-hoc rosters (Pilbara region)

Class C manual drivers license (desirable, however not essential)

Forklift ticket with experience (desirable, however not essential)

What we offer

We offer In-house and external training opportunities to our employees, including mechanical, welding and fabrication skills. As a small team, we are flexible when it comes to working away from home and we encourage work-life balance. Weekly pay with a 38hr week and early finish on Friday locally, while site work is 12 hours door-to-door. Site work is on a rotation basis.
