THE ROLE
As the CFO you not only will be at the core of reviewing the current team structure while ensuring the financial health and strategy of a business that has achieved remarkable success throughout NSW and ACT with their landmark projects.
Commercially lead the senior team to forward financial planning.
With a varied portfolio of operations and a reputation for creating structures that stand the test of time, the company is poised for further growth, where you will be at the controls of its financial transformation.
Reporting to the Directors your influence will extend across several business units, steering efficiency, profitability, and long-term sustainability.
Duties can include.
- Design and implement financial strategies that support the company’s vision for growth.
- Lead long-term financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for multi-unit operations.
- Oversee financial reporting, compliance, and audit coordination, to meet regulatory requirements.
- You will have a forte' for change management as you lead an established team of finance professionals.
- A recognised history as a CFO or senior financial leader, ideally in a construction or building high-growth, complex business environment.
- Experience managing financial controls across diverse industries and business units.
- Outstanding ability in financial modelling, strategic planning, coupled with risk management.
- Function as a key advisor to the Directors, providing actionable visions to lead business decisions.
- Drive initiatives related to capital investment, cost management, and new business opportunities.
THE ESSENTIALS
- CPA/CA/ACCA or similar qualifications
- MBA highly regarded.
- Proven financial and analytical skills, confidence in negotiating and navigating contracts.
- A thorough working understanding of relevant statutory regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated record in leading financial teams, driving compliance, and managing risk in high-value projects.
- Commercial experience that will spearhead initiatives positioning the business as a market leader in its sectors
