About the Opportunity

Infinity Financial is exclusively seeking a Senior Financial Controller for a national, multi‑site industrial services organisation with a 45‑year track record of operational excellence.

Our client is a market leader in specialist mechanical and technical services, supplying the transport, mining, marine, industrial, and power generation sectors. Operating across multiple branches and certified service centres, the business combines deep technical expertise with a commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency.

This is a high‑impact leadership role for an experienced finance professional looking to shape the financial strategy of a dynamic, operationally complex business.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day‑to‑day accounting and finance operations, including month‑end close, reconciliations, and cashflow management

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term financial planning across a multi‑site network

Ensure compliance with AASB/IFRS standards, tax obligations, and internal governance frameworks

Provide strategic financial advice to senior management to drive commercial decision‑making

Identify and execute process and system improvements, including ERP optimisation and reporting automation

Mentor and develop a high‑performing finance team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement

Partner with operational leaders to align financial performance with business objectives

About You

8+ years post‑qualification experience in financial control or finance leadership roles

Minimum 5 years’ hands‑on experience with Pronto ERP (Pronto Xi) in a multi‑site environment

Proven track record in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management

Strong analytical and commercial skills to interpret complex operational and financial data

Exceptional stakeholder management and communication, with the ability to influence senior leaders

Experience leading and developing finance teams in dynamic, operational settings

Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance and CA/CPA accreditation
