We are urgently seeking two Field Workers to join our streetscape team with a local government crew in Ipswich. You will maintain gardens, reserves, foothpaths and traffic islands (including weeding, tree planting, leaf blowing, brush cutting, hedging, mulching, tree planting, mowing and rubbish removal).

Casual rate of $38.52/hour (plus superannuation)

Casual shifts rostered across 9-day fortnight (Mon-Fri) from 6:00am – 3:00pm with possibility of overtime.

Multiple temp roles

We are seeking:

Previous experience with landscaping or parks and gardens work.

An appropriate level of physical fitness for the work being performed.

Current C class drivers licence (roles may also be available for crew truck drivers if you have a current MR licence $42.25/hour).

Construction Industry White Card.

Strong reliability, work ethic and commitment to safety with proven ability to follow directions and work as part of a team (supported by references).

Please note that Mandatory PPE requirements apply and you must be willing to be face-fit tested for a P2 disposable respirator prior to starting.

The following is advantageous (but not essential):

Certificate in Horticulture

Q Fever vaccination.

Working in proximity to traffic.
