• Full-time with monthly accrued day off
• Between $101,122 and $110,480 (pro-rata) per annum depending on qualifications and experience, plus superannuation.
• Primarily based in Bairnsdale, but may be required to work across Orange Door sites

About the role

The Orange Door Practitioner – Adults Using Family Violence will work as part of a multidisciplinary team of practitioners to deliver high quality, safe and effective responses to adults using family violence (AUFV). A core part of the work is to identify and respond to risk created by AUFV to increase safety for victim survivors. The Orange Door Practitioner will report to a Team Leader on a day-to-day basis with formal line management and supervision provided by a Gippsland Lakes Complete Health Team Leader. They will also receive support and guidance from The Orange Door Practice Leaders.

Skills & Experience

• A degree in Social Work or equivalent, or be working towards this qualification in line with Recommendation 209 of the Royal Commission.
• Experience working with adults using family violence, children and families with complex needs and risk issues in any of the following service areas: Family Services, Child Protection, Family Violence, Disability, Housing, Mental Health and/or Alcohol and Other Drugs
