About the role

Unleashed Dog Training and Grooming is seeking a passionate and experienced Dog Trainer to join our team in Coolum Beach, Queensland. This part-time role is an exciting opportunity to work with dogs and their owners, helping to improve their behaviour and strengthen their bond. This role is flexible and can be tailored to fit the best applicant in terms of tasks as well as hours.

What you'll be doing

The potential to run group classes and private training sessions with clients

Working with day train dogs and puppies to build on the skills their owners are working on day to day

Maintaining detailed records of client progress and training outcomes

Running dog sport classes for pet dog owners

Assisting in running group social classes

Attending promotional events and community training program

What we're looking for

Experience as a professional dog trainer highly regarded

Proven track record of successfully training dogs and their owners

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex training concepts in a clear and engaging manner

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tailor training methods to individual dogs and their owners

Passion for animal welfare and improving the lives of companion dogs

Relevant qualifications in dog training or a related field would be highly regarded

Reliability, good organisational and time management skills is a must

The ability to work independently as well as in a team

Driven to grow, improve and aspire to increase your knowledge in the training area to provide the best training experience to our clients and grow the business
