Our Team
We have a fun, vibrant team who have weekly Friday team meetings and supervision sessions in the office, with regular team lunches and birthday celebrations, and an opportunity to celebrate each other’s achievements. We are a group of like-minded therapists who enjoy supporting each other and attending fun social outings.
The Role
As a Full-Time Speech Pathologist at OCC Therapy, you will provide clinic, home and school-based support to children, teachers and families to enable children to reach their full potential. The caseload covers children who have a disability and/or have language and literacy difficulties. You will work alongside a fantastic team of fellow Speech Pathologists & Occupational Therapists, across two convenient locations – Chapel Hill and Mt Gravatt.
OCC Therapy uses an online management system, enabling you to complete work from home. All therapy resources and assessments are provided, and we offer a range of supervision and professional development options weekly. In addition to our regular professional development sessions across the year, we hold our annual PD Week in late January each year which includes a week of team building, growth and clinical development opportunities & our annual first aid training.
About you
We are looking for Speech Pathologists who are passionate about providing client-centred care with a positive attitude towards treating across the 0-18 age range.
To be successful in this role, you will:
Require membership with Speech Pathology Australia
Have a blue card
Have a drivers licence and a car
Be committed to high quality, evidence-based practice
Use your initiative and clinical reasoning skills, while being an active contributor to the team
