We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated Field Service Technician / Installer, officially classified under the Electronics Equipment Tradesperson occupation. This is a hands-on, technical role ideal for someone who enjoys fault-finding, working outdoors, and delivering quality service to a variety of clients.

Your Key Responsibilities

Service, repair, and fault-find a variety of automated gate systems

Install automation systems and associated electrical components

Provide friendly and professional on-site support to residential and commercial customers

Maintain accurate service records and reports

Participate in a rotating after-hours call-out roster, including weekends and public holidays

What You’ll Bring

Ideally 3+ years’ experience in gate automation or a similar electronics/electrical trade

Strong fault-finding and diagnostics ability in low-voltage systems (essential)

Proficiency with hand and power tools

Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients

Competent with documentation and basic computer use

Manual Driver’s Licence, White Card, and current National Police Clearance

Legal right to work in Australia

Desirable Attributes

Recognised trade qualification as an Electronics Equipment Tradesperson

Experience with access control or automation systems

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality

Ability to work independently and take initiative

Willingness to undertake drug and alcohol testing as required by clients
