Pharmacy Assistant required for primarily packing our community patients' dose administration aid packs. In this role you will be responsible for:

packing medication for our community patients

managing patients medication ensuring appropriate and adequate physical stock to ensure the process runs smoothly

communicating with the patient regarding scripts required to ensure a smooth packing process

as we use Suremed X packing software and virtual pill inventory you will be responsible to managing and maintaining pharmacy stock levels

Fred dispense and POS is the sofware used in the pharmacy

In addition to packing you will also be required to assist on the service counter and will be involved with all daily tasks carried out in the normal course of business activities.

Pharmacy experience is strongly preferred however not essential. Training and certification can be provided to the ideal canditate.

Full time position is preferred however we will accept an applicant available only 30 hours per week. Shift hours will be usually from 8.30am to 4/5pm weekdays however it would be preferable if you could work until 6pm on the rare occasion to help with pharmacy customer flow.
