The Role

Join a busy Housing Service Centre team, delivering frontline tenancy and property services to customers with complex needs. This role involves a mix of office and fieldwork, managing tenancy arrangements and providing support in a fast-paced environment.

  • Maintain accurate customer/property records using Microsoft Suite and internal IT systems
  • Manage property maintenance and conduct regular inspections
  • Coordinate tenancy allocations, changes, and vacancies while ensuring compliance
  • Conduct face-to-face and telephone interviews to assess social housing applications
  • Respond to customers face to face and via the telephone
  • Manage and monitor rent and maintenance arrears, rent assessments, payment arrangements, refunds and collections
  • Conduct home visits to properties and investigate and facilitate any tenancy disputes and complaints
  • Make referrals to support service agencies

You

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with strong empathy and have previously worked in a customer facing role. You will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Strong experience dealing with customers face-to-face or over the phone
  • Excellent communication and de-escalation skills
  • Resilience when working with vulnerable individuals
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining confidentiality
  • Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History check before placement
  • A current driver's license
