About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Physiotherapy Department as a Rotating Physiotherapist, where you will be responsible for:

  • Providing assessment, treatment, education, and health promotion to neonates, women, children, and adolescents.
  • Supporting patients and families to minimise the impact of illness, disability, or injury and enhance functional outcomes.
  • Working as part of a rotating physiotherapy team across key service areas including Women’s Health, Respiratory, Orthopaedics, Neurodevelopmental, and Hospital in the Home.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of physiotherapy services within a dynamic clinical environment.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

AHP1:

  • Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills within physiotherapy and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure across multiple clinical areas and to demonstrate effective time management.

AHP2:

  • Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
  • High level of clinical skills in the physiotherapy management of paediatric and/or women’s health patients in an acute setting with demonstrated high level patient outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills within physiotherapy and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and high levels of autonomy.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience working in a paediatric, women’s health or acute setting.
  • Experience in the direction of allied health assistants and supervision of students.
