Guided by our Values, your responsibilities will include:

Lead the Charge: Take ownership of our entire payroll function, ensuring every fortnightly pay run (and those tricky EOFY processes!) are spot-on, on time, and compliant.

Be the Go-To Guru: Provide expert advice on Award interpretation, certified agreements, and ever-evolving legislation - you’re the knowledge hub we count on.

Keep it Clean: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of payroll data and reporting. Manage audits, oversee reconciliations, and liaise with our valued third-party partners.

Drive the Future: Be at the forefront of payroll innovation by leading system improvements, end-to-end testing, and platform upgrades within our HRIS environment. You'll play a key role in shaping how technology supports our people and processes - from automation and analytics to self-service and user experience. We’re looking for someone who’s not just tech-savvy, but forward-thinking - someone excited by change and always scanning the horizon for smarter, more modern ways to elevate payroll and HR operations.

What we're looking for:

Experienced Payroll Professional: You've led payroll superstars before and know the ins and outs of legislation, tax, and super like the back of your hand.

Systems Savvy: You have a keen eye for identifying system issues, resolving problems efficiently, and recommending smart, practical solutions. With solid experience in configuring, maintaining, and testing payroll and HRIS systems, you’re the go-to person for making sure everything runs smoothly - and for finding ways to make it even better.

Leadership Legend: You’ve built, led, and inspired top-performing teams, creating cultures where people thrive.

Clear Communicator: Whether it’s simplifying complex Award interpretations or engaging diverse stakeholders, you know how to get the message across with confidence and clarity.

Change Champion: You don’t just manage processes - you improve them. You’re constantly looking for smarter, faster, better ways to get things done.

Eligibility

You'll hold a tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Finance or similar field.
