About the role:

Reporting into the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Team Leader is responsible for managing day-to-day payroll processing operations along with the leadership of 4 direct reports. This role will involve both people management while also still being hands on with payroll processing. Your key duties will include:

• Fortnightly payroll processing including new starters, terminations, redundancies, leave calculations, superannuation, etc.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to the team
• Provide a high level of customer service to employees
• Ensure compliance with payroll related legislation 1

About you:

• Demonstrated experience of at least 2 years in a payroll leadership role (essential)
• Experience using a large system
• Prior experience working in a large and complex environment
• Exceptional communication skills
• Full and unlimited Australian working rights
