Opportunity for an ambitious Intermediate Accountant has come available to the marketplace to join this large boutique CA firm in Sydney CBD. You will be a part of an organisation that provides strong training and development to fast track your knowledge and career. This CA firm works with a variety of clients including SMEs, family groups, investments, NFPs and large private businesses.

Having the close mentorship of a highly experienced Manager and Director, you will be working in a collaborative team dealing with a mix of compliance and advisory work. They will also provide you with exceptional CA mentoring and support in order to build you up to a Senior Accountant level.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

The preparation financial statements and tax returns for various SMEs, high net-worth individuals, partnerships, trusts and SMSFs

Preparation of BAS, IAS and GST reconciliations

Preparation of FBT returns

Identifying and application of CGT and Div7a

Assist in tax planning

Draft initial advice and reports

Liaising with the ATO and other regulatory bodies in relation to clients' tax issues

Ideal Requirements:

2-3+ years' local hands-on experience in a public practice firm

CA/CPA studying or upon commencement

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills due to the potential client facing nature of role

A self-starter with drive and attention to detail
