About the role

Rencor Constructions is seeking an Apprentice Carpenter to join our family owned construction team. As a member of our team you will be helping to deliver a wide range of projects in the Fraser Coast region. This full-time position is a fantastic opportunity to learn a skillset and gain knowledge through the diversity of our projects.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with the construction of various wood-based structures, including framing, flooring, and cabinetry

Learning and applying carpentry techniques, such as measuring, cutting, and assembling

Learning to read and interpret plans and technical drawings

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

Participating in on-the-job training and attending formal education sessions to obtain your carpentry qualification

Working as part of a team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards

What we're looking for

Genuine interest and enthusiasm for a career in carpentry and construction

Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Willingness to learn and a commitment to completing your carpentry apprenticeship

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality work
