Saltair Modular is a fast-growing, award-winning modular builder with production facilities in Crestmead and Coolum Beach. With capacity to deliver over 1,800 modules annually, we lead the way in high-quality residential and commercial projects across Queensland.

We’re expanding and looking for Apprentice Carpenters (1st–4th Year) to join our energetic Crestmead team. This is a hands-on, full-time role in a collaborative and safety-first environment where you'll gain the practical skills and experience to become a qualified tradesperson.

About the Role

Working under the supervision of qualified carpenters, you'll:

Assist with measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling timber and materials

Help install modular components: walls, ceilings, cabinetry, cladding, insulation, doors, and windows

Prepare tools, materials, and maintain tidy workspaces

Contribute to a safe and efficient factory or yard environment

Participate in ongoing learning and development, both on-site and through your Certificate III in Carpentry

What We’re Looking For

1st–4th Year Apprentice – or willingness to enrol in Certificate III in Carpentry

White Card (Construction Induction)

Valid Australian driver’s licence

Basic experience with hand/power tools and understanding of workshop or construction safety

Strong work ethic, problem-solving mindset, and a genuine passion to learn

Punctual, reliable, and a great team player

What We Offer

Above-award pay rates: $21.97 to $34.27/hr (plus higher rates for adult apprentices)
