About the role

Horizons Childhood Learning Centres' is seeking a Childcare Cook/Chef to join our team in Beaconsfield, WA. This is a casual position, with the opportunity to work flexible hours to suit your needs. As our Childcare Cook/Chef, you will play a vital role in providing nutritious and delicious meals for the children in our care.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and cooking healthy, balanced meals and snacks for the children

Ensuring all food preparation and storage meets strict health and safety standards

Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment

Collaborating with the childcare team to understand dietary requirements and preferences

Staying up-to-date with changes in nutrition and food safety regulations

What we're looking for

At least 2 years of experience in a similar childcare or commercial cooking role

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

A passion for providing nutritious and enjoyable meals for children
