Davidson is working with a state government client who is seeking an experienced Senior Advisor with high level Stakeholder Engagement experience. This division is responsible for the management of international networks and relationships.

About the Role/s

This role will manage coordination of major significant projects, reporting processes and policy initiatives, on behalf of the Director and General Manager. You will also provide strategic and operational oversight of tasks and advisory support, lead and manage business activities relevant to the team and provide high-level co-ordination of correspondence for the General Manager.

· Provide written and verbal advice and communications on strategy and reporting activities to high-level stakeholders including Ministers, the Board and senior management.

· Contribute to the management of business activities for the International Operations unit in accordance with relevant practices including managing efficient business systems and processes.

· Contribute to the planning, coordination and monitoring of major significant projects, reporting processes and policy initiatives on behalf of the General Manager.

· Develop submissions, briefing notes, reports and correspondence on complex policy issues, corporate matters, key business priorities and operational issues for the senior management, Board, Minister and other key public and private sector stakeholders.

· Represent at stakeholder meetings as required, and apply high-level negotiating and influencing skills to gain consensus and support from people with differing views.

About you

· Demonstrated experience working within Government.

· Demonstrated experience providing high level stakeholder engagement - C Suite level.

· Experienced with briefing notes, reports and providing advice.

· The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Must have strong communication skills - both written and verbal.

The Benefits

· $78.02 per hour + Super (PAYG Agency Contractor)

· 4-month contract, possible extension
