💼 Role Overview

This hands-on role involves installing custom cabinetry and joinery across a range of residential renovations. We're looking for someone who not only installs cabinetry with precision but also understands the full picture—how their work integrates with other trades and contributes to the success of a project.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting detailed pre-installation site measures and assessing conditions.

Reading and interpreting technical drawings, joinery schedules, and floorplans.

Installing kitchen, bathroom, and laundry cabinetry to a high standard.

Creating accurate stone templates and liaising with stonemasons.

Fitting:

Vanities, mirror cabinets, tallboys, linen cupboards.

Infills, kickboards, pelmets, handles.

Integrated fridge/freezers, cabinetry mechanisms, and storage solutions such as pull-outs, soft-close systems, and lift-up hardware.

Installing accessories like towel rails, robe hooks, and toilet roll holders.

Performing final quality checks, hinge adjustments, and functionality tests.

Leaving a clean, client-ready site every time.

🧠 What We’re Looking For

Minimum 5 years' experience in cabinet installation/joinery.

A strong understanding of surrounding trades (electrical, plumbing, tiling) and how your work interacts with theirs.

General building knowledge with the ability to solve site issues confidently.

Familiarity with integrated appliances and advanced cabinetry mechanisms.

Ability to work off plans with minimal supervision.

Reliable, punctual, and committed to producing neat, accurate work.

Own tools and vehicle (vehicle and tool allowances provided).

Professional attitude, strong communication, and teamwork.

References essential.

⭐ Highly Regarded (Bonus)

Carpentry experience (framing, structural adjustments, etc).

Installation of custom-built or high-end joinery.
