Position Overview:

As a Senior Commercial Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our client's facilities are spotless, hygienic, and presentable. You will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks with attention to detail and efficiency. This position offers the opportunity to work in diverse settings, including offices, retail spaces, and other commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning Duties: Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and disinfecting surfaces.

Sanitation: Maintain high standards of hygiene by cleaning restrooms, replenishing supplies and ensuring sanitary conditions.

Waste Management: Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste.

Equipment Handling: Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively, adhering to safety protocols.

Inspection: Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met and report any maintenance issues to management.

Client Interaction: Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or addressing any special cleaning requests.

Qualifications:

Experience: A minimum of 2 years' prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is required.

Skills: Ability to operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning agents safely, strong attention to detail and time management skills.

Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Reliability: Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Must be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Background Check: Must obtain National Police Clearance Certificate and provide references prior to start date.

Transport: Must have a driver's licence and reliable vehicle.

Right to Work: Must have the right to work in Australia.

Working Conditions:

Hours: Minimum 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with availability for more hours as required.

Environment: Work in various commercial settings, some of which may require evening work.
