Employer & Disability Health Solutions is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join their team in Shepparton, Victoria. This is a full-time role providing essential services to a diverse range of clients in the local community. Key responsibilities
Proficient written and verbal communication to a range of clients;
Support clients recover from illnesses and injuries by helping them navigate the health care system. Ensuring that they have access to the best possible treatment at the right time;
Collaborate and engage with a range of Health Care providers and Stakeholders
Providing supports to people with disability and navigating funding processes.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Ideally 3 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist but new grads are encouraged to apply
Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, and the use of evidence-based interventions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Proficient in the use of electronic medical record systems and technology
