D&S Steel are a growing family-owned business located in Kilmore, with a core focus on Structural Steel.

We specialise in domestic and commercial structural steel fabrication and erection.

We are currently seeking a Structural Steel Estimator to join our team.

This role will include:

Reviewing and interpreting structural and architectural drawings

Preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates

Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing

Preparing and submitting tender documentation

Assisting with project budgeting and cost tracking

Working closely with our workshop and site teams to ensure accurate costing and scope

We are seeking a loyal, hardworking, and enthusiastic person to join our team.

You must have a ‘can do’ attitude, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to work well within a collaborative environment.

The successful applicant will have the following:

Relevant estimating experience in the structural steel industry

Strong ability to read and interpret shop drawings and specifications

High attention to detail and accuracy in costings

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Proficiency in estimating software or willingness to learn

Current driver’s licence (essential)

Trade background in fabrication/erection (advantageous but not essential)
