About the role

Permanent full time opportunity to demonstrate accountability for effective strategic and operational leadership and management for the nursing and midwifery profession within Redcliffe Hospital and other positions as relevant to the role.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to identify and prioritise needs accessing both material and human resources through effective negotiation and communication to achieve cost effective consumer/person centred service delivery including Business Planning Framework (BPF) application.
• Practice collaboratively within the interprofessional health care team to promote the safety, security and personal integrity of individuals and groups.
• Participate in and manage the performance and development planning of self and staff reporting to the position.
• Integrate organisational policies and guidelines with professional standards by maintaining a current knowledge and participating in relevant policy review.
• Demonstrate effective leadership that promotes all aspects of the nursing and midwifery profession from an international, national, and state perspective.
