About the role

Ballarat Leagues Club is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Apprentice Chef - Cook to join our talented culinary team. As an Apprentice Chef, you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced chefs and develop your skills in a fast-paced and dynamic kitchen environment. This full-time role is based in our Ballarat East location.

What you'll be doing

1. Assisting senior chefs in the preparation and cooking of a variety of dishes

2. Learning culinary techniques and best practices in food safety and hygiene

3. Ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality meals to our restaurant and bistro guests

4. Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen workspace

5. Participating in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve your skills

What we're looking for

1. A passion for the culinary arts and a desire to learn and grow as an Apprentice Chef - Cook

2. Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff

3. Good time management and multi-tasking abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment

4. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service

5. A willingness to complete a formal Apprenticeship program and obtain relevant qualifications
