Are you a strategic operator with a skillset in leading cross-functional teams and building strong relationships with stakeholders to achieve purpose, and impact? Reef Catchments is on the lookout for a Business Operations Manager to lead a high-performing team that transforms strong relationships and proven project delivery into regionally relevant NRM opportunities and outcomes.
In this pivotal role, you will
• Provide strategic leadership and oversight to the team responsible for delivering high-quality support across Reef Catchments’ project delivery and corporate operations.
• Promote innovation and continuous improvement across systems and processes to drive strategic business growth aligned with regional natural resource management (NRM) priorities and solutions
• Champion the promotion of Reef Catchments to attract investment and amplify our regional NRM impact
• Support executive engagement, and foster collaboration across business development functions.

Selection Criteria
▪ Demonstrated ability to lead, empower and engage a high-performing team, fostering diversity, capability, and resilience in a dynamic work environment.
▪ Proven experience in business development, preferably in the NRM or environmental sector.
▪ Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
▪ Experience influencing funders, investors and partners to ensure sustainable long-term project delivery.
▪ Demonstrated ability to guide and manage funding proposals and the monitoring and reporting systems that support delivery.
▪ Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
▪ Experience in organisational performance reporting and compliance oversight.
▪ Strong and proven track record in project management, including governance.
▪ Knowledge of regional NRM issues and stakeholders.
▪ Familiarity with GIS and data, and knowledge management systems, and communication tools.
▪ Experience working in a not-for-profit or government-funded environment.
