About Us:
We are a fast-growing disaster restoration company with a mission to help people and businesses recover from water, mould, fire, and storm damage. Our clients include government schools, hospitals, insurance companies and commercial properties, so our work is steady and meaningful. We pride ourselves on our awesome team culture – we’re a close-knit crew that values hard work, fairness and a good laugh, while making a real difference in our community.

Are You Our Next Team Member?
Are you a reliable construction labourer, restorer or trades assistant looking for a new challenge and long-term career growth? Do you have hands-on building experience and want to pivot into a rewarding role? If you’re comfortable with tools, demolition work, and even new technology, this could be the perfect next step. Every day in our team is different – one day you might be stripping out water-damaged drywall or bathrooms, and the next you’re using the latest equipment to structurally dry a school building or remove mould from a hospital wing. If you take pride in working fast and paying attention to detail, and you want a job where no two days are the same, read on!

What You’ll Do: (Key Responsibilities)

Make Properties Safe & Dry: Perform water extraction, structural drying and remediation on sites affected by leaks, floods, fires and humidity. This includes setting up drying/air filtration equipment, removing damaged building materials (carpets, cabinetry, drywall, etc.), and sanitising contaminated areas.

Strip-Outs & Cleanup: Carry out controlled demolition/strip-out of damaged sections of homes and buildings (removing affected building materials, flooring, cabinetry) and dispose of debris. You’ll ensure the site is clean and safe for repair

Property Inspections & Reporting: Conduct initial inspections of damaged properties to assess the scope of work. Use moisture meters and other tools to measure damage, photograph and document findings, and prepare detailed reports using our easy field software (these reports help clients and insurance companies understand the damage). High attention to detail and moisture tracking is a must here.

Restore and Rebuild: Work as part of a team to clean and restore structures to their former state after events. One day you might be building a containment and installing air filtration; another day, you could be stripping out 6 rooms in an affected property.

Client Communication: Interact professionally with property owners, site managers, or insurance reps on-site. As a friendly face of our company, you’ll explain the work being done and reassure clients the works we are completing are in line with IICRC standards.

Teamwork & Safety: Collaborate with other technicians and trades. Follow safety protocols religiously – wear PPE, handle equipment properly, and ensure sites are safe. You’ll also help maintain our gear and vehicles, keeping everything in top shape for the next job.

What We Offer:

Hourly Pay: Commencing at $40–$50/hour. We pay fairly for your skills and hard dedicated work.

Training & Career Development: You don’t need prior restoration experience – we will train you in-house and through external courses. If you’re motivated, we’ll help you gain industry certifications like IICRC in water/mould remediation. This is a chance to learn a specialized trade and grow into senior technician or supervisory roles as our company expands.

Tools and Tech Provided: No need to bring a Ute full of tools – we use company vehicles for work use and all the specialized tools, drying equipment and safety gear you’ll need. We use modern tech (digital reporting apps, moisture detection tools) to make the job easier and keep you at the cutting edge of the industry.

Supportive Team Culture: Be part of an awesome team that has your back. We believe in working hard together and celebrating our wins. Expect regular team barbecues, shout-outs for great work, and a management team that listens. We value work-life balance – while we do respond to emergencies, the vast majority of our work is in hours.

Meaningful Work: Every day, you’ll make a positive impact on someone’s life by helping them recover from an event. The work is hands-on and can be challenging – but it’s incredibly rewarding to see a flooded building or mouldy school classroom returned to a clean, safe and occupiable state. When storms strike or accidents happen, our team is there to set things right, and you can take pride in that mission.

About You (Qualifications & Skills):
We’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic and the following:

Construction Experience: You have a background in construction, demolition, carpentry, or similar trades. You know your way around a job site and power tools. White Card (Construction Safety Card) is required.

Physical Fitness & Energy: This role is active and physical. You’re able to lift >20kg, carry materials, climb ladders, and handle working in confined spaces or at heights when necessary. You don’t mind getting dirty and doing hands-on work (with proper safety gear, of course).
We value a healthy, energetic approach – and we support it with a local gym membership for team members.

Attention to Detail: You take pride in your workmanship and keep an eye on the details – whether it’s making sure a room is thoroughly dry or that your paperwork is accurate. Completing checklists and reports accurately is important in our line of work.

Tech-Friendly Attitude: You’re comfortable using a smartphone or tablet to enter job notes, take photos, or learn to use new restoration equipment. (If you can send a text and watch YouTube, you can handle our gear – and we’ll show you how.)

Team Player (with Independence): You can work independently when needed – tackling a task solo onsite – but also enjoy being part of a team that supports each other on big jobs. You communicate clearly and respectfully with colleagues and clients.

Reliable & Flexible: You show up on time and ready to go. You have a valid manual driver’s license to get to sites. You’re willing to be support in the occasional after-hours emergency – and you handle the unexpected with a cool head.

Bonus Points (Not Required): IICRC or other restoration certification, asbestos awareness training, or experience in water/mould/fire damage restoration. Any trade qualifications (plumbing, electrical, carpentry) are a plus. Also, because we work with schools and hospitals, having a current police check or Blue Card (or willingness to obtain one) will be looked upon favorably.

How to Apply:
Ready to build a rewarding career with us? If this opportunity excites you, we’d love to hear from you! Please send your resume and a brief cover letter explaining your relevant experience. Not sure if you’re a perfect fit? No worries – if you have the construction skills and the right attitude, we will support your training in restoration. Feel free to give us a call or email for a chat about the role.

Join us and turn your construction experience into a career that matters – helping people put their lives back together, one project at a time. Apply today and let’s talk!
