IMPACT Community Services is seeking a dynamic and visionary Team Leader to oversee the operations of the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) - a program dedicated to reducing social isolation among older Australians through meaningful volunteer connections.

About the Role
As the ACVVS Team Leader, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the program, ensuring compliance with funding agreements and driving innovation in service delivery. You’ll lead a team of dedicated volunteers and staff, and work closely with aged care providers, community stakeholders, and network members to create impactful and lasting connections.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and refine policies and procedures to enhance service delivery
Promote the ACVVS across aged care providers and the broader community
Lead volunteer recruitment, training, and support, ensuring compliance with legislation
Match volunteers with recipients based on compatibility and need
Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and provide regular program updates
Organise volunteer functions, provider meetings, and generate quarterly newsletters
Ensure accurate reporting and data submission in line with contractual obligations
Champion the integration of digital tools to streamline operations and improve engagement
What You’ll Bring
Desirable - relevant professional qualifications in Aged Care
Experience working with Elders and vulnerable community members
A sensitive, respectful, and inclusive approach
Strong digital literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and support individuals and teams
Skills in interviewing, assessing, and supervising volunteers
Effective time and mind management with a solutions-focused mindset
