Foundations Therapy & Support
Posted 12 days ago
Make a Lasting Impact. Work Where It Matters.
Foundations Therapy & Support is a mobile paediatric OT service working directly with children and families in real-life settings - homes, schools, playgrounds, and the wider community.
We’re not your standard OT clinic. Our small but mighty team blends individualised therapy with inclusive group OT programs, like our innovative Sense AFL and Sense Rugby program - using sports as our tool to build regulation, motor skills, social skills, and learn to enjoy the benefits and joy of playing sport + develop the foundations to try a mainstream sport.
We’re looking for a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to grow with us, share ideas, and help shape the future of what therapy can look like.
The Role
As an Occupational Therapist with Foundations, you’ll:
Deliver meaningful therapy across home, school and community environments
Support neurodivergent children and teens to build everyday functional skills
Balance a mix of 1:1 and group therapy programs (e.g. Sense AFL and Sense Rugby)
Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals
Work with autonomy, with genuine flexibility and respect for your life outside work
Why Foundations Therapy & Support?
Therapist-Led & Values-Driven: Director remains a hands-on OT who knows the realities of our work and prioritises sustainable caseloads and meaningful outcomes
Unique Group Programs: Facilitate ourSense AFL & Sense Rugby group sports OT program — combining sport, therapy, regulation, and fun
Wellbeing Comes First: Monthly self-care allowance, flexible scheduling, real workload support
Flexible Models: Choose your own caseload and schedule to ensure it works best for you
Co-Working & Connection: Optional co-working days, weekly team meet-ups, and meaningful team events
Growth & Mentoring: Regular supervision, career pathway support, and involvement in growing programs
Melbourne-Based: Inner suburb caseloads and community-focused delivery

Bachelor or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
AHPRA registered (or pending)
Passionate about neurodivergent-affirming practice
A love for creative, play-based, or movement-based intervention
