About this Position
An exciting opportunity exists for a Storeperson to join the Direct Paper team based in Dingley. Development and training will be provided for the right candidate. You will be responsible for efficiently and safely receiving, preparing and packing products to ensure our customers receive their orders on time.
You will be required to work 40 hours between 8.00am – 4.30pm, Monday to Friday (some flexibility may be required). This role reports to the Warehouse Manager.
The hourly rate for this position is $32.33. All other conditions are in accordance with the site Enterprise Agreement.
Key responsibilities
Order picking of products
Use of a reach forklift and counterbalance forklift
Consolidation and repacking of orders
Unloading/loading of trucks and containers
Assisting with receipt and put away of stock
Stocktaking
Regular manual handling tasks
Housekeeping
Required Skills and experience
Experience working in a warehouse environment
Ability to work well in a team and independently
Experience operating a forklift would be highly advantageous
Valid forklift licence, or willingness to obtain
Attention to detail
Punctuality
“Tech savvy”- comfortable with learning and using IT systems
Knowledge of SAP with RF experience (advantageous)
