Our client, a family owned furniture business, is seeking a reliable and motivated Storeperson to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of warehouse and inventory operations.

As a Storeperson, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and dispatching goods efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timely processing. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills will be essential as you manage stock levels, coordinate deliveries, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

We are looking for a person with strong communication skills who will liaise with the head office and in-house staff to achieve the company goals.

The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a team setting, is physically capable of managing warehouse tasks, and is eager to develop skills in logistics and inventory management as this business has huge growth.

Key responsibilities include:

• Receiving and sorting incoming goods and materials
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• Maintaining inventory records and stock control
• Ensuring workplace safety and cleanliness
• Assisting with stock takes and reporting discrepancies

To be successful for the role you will:

• Have full Australian work rights
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be a leader who is hands on
• Hold a current Forklift Licence with experience on both the Counter Balance & Reach Forklifts
