Key Responsibilities

Prepare, season, and cook a variety of dishes from our traditional Chinese and hawker-style menu.

Regularly inspect food ingredients to ensure the highest quality and freshness.

Accurately manage oven, grill, and other kitchen equipment temperatures for optimal cooking results.

Portion, plate, and artistically garnish dishes for outstanding presentation.

Safely store food items in temperature-controlled environments to maintain freshness and quality.

Accommodate special dietary requirements with careful preparation.

Assist in menu planning and estimating required food quantities.

Provide training and guidance to kitchen staff and apprentices, ensuring consistent culinary excellence.

Requirements

1-2 years as a Cook in a restaurant or catering establishment.

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification (or higher).

Expertise in preparing traditional Chinese and hawker-style dishes is highly desirable.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Strong attention to detail to ensure quality and consistency in every dish.

Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper storage practices.

Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
