About the role

Bright Side Scaffolding is seeking a casual scaffolding Labourer to join our team in Tyabb, VIC. In this role, you will be responsible for providing essential height safety support to our construction projects, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our workers.

What you'll be doing

• Assemble, maintain and dismantle scaffolding structures including 2 plank walkway system, void protection and safety rail to industry standards
• Inspect and test height safety equipment such as harnesses, lanyards and anchor points
• Provide training and guidance to workers on the proper use of height safety equipment
• Monitor work sites to identify and address any height safety risks or concerns
• Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment and materials
• Maintain detailed records and documentation related to height safety activities
• Collaborate with the broader construction team to ensure seamless project delivery

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a height safety or scaffolding role, preferably within the construction industry
• Demonstrated knowledge of height safety regulations, equipment and best practices
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively coordinate with workers
• Physically fit and able to work at heights and in challenging conditions
• Current Australian driver's licence and reliable transportation
