We specialise in the construction, modification and repair of reinforced concrete Energex cable pits, servicing South East Queensland with the majority of works carried out in Inner Brisbane, surrounding suburbs and Sunshine Coast. Our team is managed by the longest serving and most reputable Energex Authorised Pit Builder in SEQ with over 25 years’ experience in this specific field. The position being offered is very unique and new opportunity in the workspace. We are offering a dual-role position to give the right person the stability of a full-time position within our company and team.

The role includes both Electrical Spotter and Traffic Controller as required.

Electrical spotter involves spotting for civil construction works around underground electrical infrastructure. You must hold a current unrestricted electrical licence for this role, however additional Energex training for this position will be provided.

Traffic control involves setting up signage as per TGS provided and managing our crew vehicle parking and pedestrians around our work zones as required. If you hold a current traffic control licence this would be highly regarded for your application, however is not essential if you are willing to undergo training in this field and perform these duties. Traffic Control Vehicle is provided.

We have both day shift crews and night shift crews and you must be willing to work either as needed, with all shifts starting and finishing from our yard at Northgate 4013.

Must have:

Current electrical licence

Current open manual driver’s licence

Current Construction white card

Current Traffic Control Licence (or willingness to obtain)

Must have a great work ethic, be reliable and turns up to work every day rearing to go.

Be available and willing to work night shift when required.

Be positive, mature and respectful and is willing to work as a team member.

Hours:
36 - 45 hours per week.
