As a Marine Construction Worker, you will be part of a skilled team delivering high-quality marine infrastructure projects. Your daily tasks will involve working on construction sites across Tasmania’s coastlines and waterways, assisting with the construction, installation, and repair of marine structures.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with pile driving and other marine construction activities

Building and repairing jetties, boat ramps and installing floating pontoons

Operate hand and power tools, construction machinery and lifting equipment

Work safely on and around water, including from barges and floating platforms

Contribute to site preparation, clean-up, and logistics

Follow direction while also working independently when required

Travel to various project sites across Tasmania as needed

Essential Requirements:

Trades background or relevant industry experience

Comfortable working with a range of materials including timber, steel, concrete and fibreglass

Strong teamwork skills and ability to work autonomously

Current driver’s license

Preferred Attributes:

On-water or boating experience

Medium Rigid or Heavy Rigid truck license

This is a casual position with the potential to move to permanent employment for reliable and committed team members. You'll be part of a friendly and professional crew working on some of Tasmania’s most interesting marine infrastructure projects.
